This or That

Night owl or early riser?

Early riser, for sure. I teach classes, at the crack of dawn, 4 days a week.

Audiobooks or podcasts?

Reality television.

Text or FaceTime?

I love a good FaceTime if the other person does too. Having a conversation in real time, and seeing their pretty face, is always preferred for me.

Instagram or Twitter?

Cooking at home or eating out?

It’s all about balance for me. Cooking at home is one of the primary ways I express my creativity and help relieve my stress and anxiety. There’s just something about laying out all of your ingredients and steps that completely distracts the mind. However, when I’m exhausted from training, there’s nothing like Postmates or take-out in bed!

My favorite skincare trend is….

Facial tools. I’m a sucker for a new skin tool that can elevate my skincare routine. Whether it’s to wash my face, to promote lymphatic drainage, or a microcurrent. Gotta collect ‘em all!

Someone I admire is…

I admire all of my clients and riders. But especially the ones that are overcoming physical or mental obstacles. From pregnancies to injuries, to addiction, I am consistently humbled by those who continue to show up for themselves – no matter what’s holding them back.

I also want to say how much I admire other fitness trainers and instructors. A lot of work goes into creating the workouts, playlists and the overall experience. It definitely takes constant physical and mental dedication to do what we do!

My favorite account I follow on Instagram is …

@inner.bliss. Following more and more accounts that push out uplifting & motivating content, leaves you with more positive sentiments and creates more purpose behind your feed scrolling.

My gym bag is always filled with…

Spin shoes, AirPods, a reusable water bottle, protein packets, a travel skin care set and a change of clothes & socks! Always.

I always travel with my…

Travel pillow and SNACKS. Lots of snacks.

I can’t live without…

My calendar.

Describe yourself in three words.

Hilarious. Fun-loving. Passionate.

What is your go-to Anthony skincare product and why?

I think it’s a tie between the Anthony Day Cream SPF 30 and the Glycolic Exfoliating & Resurfacing Wipes

What inspired you to become a Cycle House Instructor and how did you get started?

Strangely enough, Cycle House was the gateway into my personal fitness journey. When I was 19 years old, I was living on a friend’s couch for a summer while I took unpaid internships in Los Angeles. My friend begged me to take a Cycle House class with her, even though I HATED working out. I lied my way into getting a few free classes, saying that I worked at a partnering juice bar across the street, as I couldn’t afford it. That first class was the most life-changing moment for me. I cried (HAHA). I knew that this was a lifestyle I needed to embrace because beyond being physically challenging, it tapped into a realization of mental clarity and personal strength.

When I officially moved to Los Angeles 3 years later, I started back up at Cycle House (paying for classes this time) every week. I then went on to work at the front desk for a year so I could get classes and dive deeper into this community. One of the most exciting days for me was when they asked me to take a leap and join their training program! I did not hesitate with a “YES!”

What do you enjoy most about Cycle House classes?

What I enjoy most about Cycle House classes is our community. It genuinely fills my cup when I get to see my riders and meet new people, every week. Creating a new playlist & experience for them will always leave me with the healthiest high because I get to be creative.

Tell us your post-gym grooming and skincare tips.

I always try to wash my face, apply a day serum or oil, moisturize and apply an SPF after I workout (or teach a class).

If I know that I’m not going to be able to shower soon after a workout, I keep toning pads and exfoliating wipes on hand to prevent breakouts.

At night, I love a good exfoliating mask, retinol and a heavy moisturizer for rejuvenating the skin.

What’s your best-kept exercise secret?

RECOVERY. I think more and more I’m learning that your body needs more recovery than you think. The moment I stopped working 2 times a day, 6 days per week, was when I really started seeing results and feeling better overall.
